According to the report released by provincial departments and agencies, more than 90% of affected enterprises received advanced money, 100% enterprises resumed their normal activities, several enterprises have not received the money yet, due to the enterprises and the insurance companies haven’t reach any agreement on total damaged asset value.
The departments and agencies actively implemented support measures for affected enterprises, especially tax reduction and exemption, reduce land rental fees, reduce interest rate, pay unemployment insurance and salary for employees.
Enterprises resumed their production
At the working session, provincial departments and agencies reported the difficulties they encountered while offering support on tax reduction and exemption, land rental fees and interest rate reduction, unemployment insurance and salary payment.
Chairman Le Thanh Cung demanded departments and agencies to examine things done and haven’t done while implement the Government’s direction. Assign departments and agencies to disseminate, instruct and explain the Government policies to affected firms – especially taxation and custom departments. Simultaneously meet insurance companies to quickly come to an agreement to compensate for enterprises.
Chairman also requested provincial departments and agencies to summarize the implementation process and report to the Government. The Department of Taxation coordinates with the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to pay salary for employees. The Department of Planning and Investment propose the provincial People’s Committee to re-issue investment certificate for enterprises and create favorable conditions for enterprises to resume production.
