Provincial People’s Committee Vice- Chairmen, Standing People’s Council and leaders of departments, branches, districts, towns and city attended the event.

 

Located in the southern key economic zone, Binh Duong province will become the City under Central Government by its objective to 202. Therefore, the Master Plan to 2020, vision to 2030 plays a very important role in the socio- economic development orientation of Binh Duong province.

 

According to the Master Plan, the natural area of Binh Duong province is 2,695.22 km², its population will account for 2.5 million to 2020 and 3.5 million to 2030. Binh Duong province comprises of 03 zones: central zone (Thu Dau Mot Urban, Hoa Phu – Phu Tan new urban area, Nam Ben Cat and Nam Tan Uyen urban areas), zone 2 (Thuan An an Di An urban), zone 3 (including 08 satellite urban areas: Thanh Tuyen, Dau Tieng, Minh Hoa, Long Hoa, bau Bang, Phuoc Vinh, Tan Thanh and Thuong Tan urban areas), in the northern area including forestry, agricultural zones and green belt).

 

      

 

 

In term of economic infrastructure, The Master Plan defines not to establish more industrial parks in Thu Dau Mot City, Thuan An and Di An towns; build the financial- bank - insurance centers in the urban area, focus on developing trades, services along the national road 1K, provincial road DT743, highway My Phuoc - Tan Van; develop the tourism in the West, Nord-West, East, Nord-East and South.

  

After the departments’ suggestions, Vice Chairman Tran Thanh Liem stressed that the Master Plan should be conformed to land use, cemetery and approved plans by Provincial People’s Committee, ensuring the harmonious development of space and socio-economic infrastructure.
